Moves include new EMEA and Americas Directors of Business Development, and an addition to the Americas teams for Wire & Cable

Louisville, KYLLFlex – a global leader in packaging materials and industrial laminate solutions for the building & construction, wire & cable, tobacco and other consumer packaging industries – is furthering its market expansion plans by naming three additional senior-level business development executives.

The initiative includes international growth: Jonathan Laverick has joined LLFlex as Director of Business Development, EMEA. In this position, Mr. Laverick is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities and working with existing customers & representatives in Europe across LLFlex’s core marketplaces of building & construction, wire & cable, and packaging applications. Prior to joining LLFlex, he spent six years as Commercial Director Europe for Sharp Packaging Solutions and has previously worked for Alcoa/Reynolds Packaging & Alcan Packaging.

Based in the United Kingdom, Mr. Laverick will leverage his extensive relationships throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa to advance LLFlex’s share across various international markets. For building & construction customers, LLFlex provides insulation and radiant barrier facers providing gas & moisture barrier, product adhesion, reflectivity, durability, and longevity. For wire & cable, the company’s Reyshield™ Cable Wrap line comprises mono and co-ex layered film formulations with high quality resins. For tobacco application’s, LLFlex offers cigarette bundling material and custom-printed laminations for cigar, pipe and smokeless tobacco. For folding cartons & labels, the company’s Rey Print Printable for foil, film, and board laminates provides several solutions.

Christine Shirreffs also has been named Director of Business Development, Americas. Ms. Shirreffs will help expand LLFlex’s market share in the tobacco, healthcare and other consumer markets as part of its Packaging Segment. In this capacity, she will work directly with the company’s recently appointment Business Segment Director, Kelley Stearman. Most recently, Ms. Shirreffs spent 6.5 years as a sales representative in Printpack Inc.’s flexible packaging sector and brings a wealth of knowledge of printing & packaging industry with her.

LLFlex has hired Christine Lovett as a Business Development Manager for the company’s wire & cable solutions, part of its Industrial Laminates Segment. In addition to managing existing accounts and acquiring new ones, Ms. Lovett will serve as a technical liaison for cross-functional teams during LLFlex’s ongoing product development initiatives. She also will educate new customers to best take advantage of the company’s innovative solutions. Prior to joining LLFlex, Ms. Lovett spent more than a decade as an Account Manager for Sonoco Products and several years at Zumbach Electronics working in the wire & cable industry. She has been published in the Wire Journal International and Wire and Cable Technology.
